"A special thank you goes to Senior Captain Daniel Castano in his second to last race of his cross country career, Dan did not finish the race because he observed athlete from another team hurt during the race. Dan stopped and helped the athlete reach the finish line and stayed with the athlete as the trainer helped the athlete. 

This behavior is a symbol of our team as a whole and I am so thankful to Dan for helping the athlete out. Dan showed the well-being of another runner was more important to him than his own race."
